Morne Marais is the founder and lead sound designer of Sound Surgeon Studios, where he blends technical mastery with a passion for immersive storytelling. With a portfolio spanning high-octane gaming titles like Starvara to cinematic marvels such as Five Fingers Marseilles (where he got a SAFTA nomination), Morne has earned a reputation for "operating" on audio with surgical precision.

Brolin Sameul
Brolin Samuels is the tactile heart of Sound Surgeon Studios, specializing in the artisanal craft of Foley. With credits on major productions like the Netflix film Semi Soeter, the Showmax film Die Kwiksilvers, and the series Tracking Thabo Bester, Brolin uses a hands-on approach to record custom textures that ground every scene in reality. From subtle character movements to complex environmental layers, his work provides the essential human touch that makes our soundscapes feel authentically lived-in.

Creative professional with over 13 years of experience in photography, visual production, and design, now serving as Studio Manager at Sound Surgeon Studios. Skilled in concept development, art direction, and coordinating creative teams to ensure smooth, efficient studio operations, she brings a structured and detail-driven approach to managing shoots and translating creative vision into high-quality production outcomes in fast-paced environments.​

Janco Mouton
Janco Mouton is an audio professional, composer, and audio post engineer at Sound Surgeon Studios. With a background in sound production and music technology, he contributes to projects through original music composition, sound design, and audio post-production, as well as game audio implementation using Wwise and FMOD for interactive media.
